     SAT Test Results

    If your student took the SAT it takes approximately 3 weeks for scores to be posted.  Students can check these scores by logging into their College Board account.  If your student does not have an account, they can create one by following this link:



    While we are out for 6 weeks please read updates here: 

    • June 6th is not yet canceled and College Board will be providing other testing opportunities. 
    • ACT has rescheduled its April 4 national test date to June 13 across the U.S. in response to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). All students registered for the April 4 test date will receive an email from ACT in the next few days informing them of the postponement and instructions for free rescheduling to June 13 or a future national test date.
    • Seniors I highly encourage you to contiue working through your scholarships and applications to colleges at this time.

    Students Applying to EWU Admissions Information for the Fall

    Admission is now test optional; students do not need ACT/SAT scores in order to earn admission:

    Ø  Test score submission is optional. Students are no longer required to submit SAT or ACT scores; unless they want to.

    Ø  Students who have already taken tests may submit unofficial test scores.

    Ø  In place of test scores students should submit one of the following:

                                                 I.            A recommendation letter from a current teacher or counselor;

                                               II.            AP, IB, CLEP, or Cambridge scores;

                                             III.            Evidence of college success as a Running Start Student;

                                            IV.            Evidence of college success as a College in the High School student as demonstrated by GPAs of 2.5 or higher for college level English and college level math.


    ·         Enrollment decision date has been moved from May 1st to July 1st.


    ·         We’re holding two virtual Admitted Student Days: Saturday, April 4, and Friday, April 17! These events are for students who want to experience EWU before making their college decision. We’ll send more details about this virtual Eastern Experience as soon as we have complete information.


    ·         Tours are still happening on the same schedule, but in limited fashion (10 people per group) and none on the weekends.

    The FAFSA is a Free Application for Federal Student Aid  it is a form that can be prepared annually by current and future college students to determine the students eligibility for financial assistanc

     WIAA 2020 Smart Choices Scholarship Due April 1st, 2020 

    Mahin and Saifulla Salemy High School Scientific Scholarship

    This scholarship is offered by Shahram Salemy, MD FACS.

    It is open to high school seniors in the United States who have been accepted to and will attend college (either 4-year or community) in the United States, and have an interest in the sciences.

    Plastic surgery is the branch of scientific medicine that is dedicated to the reconstruction and repair of the body. It can correct deformities that are a result of accidents, birth defects, or illness, in addition to improving overall aesthetics of the body. Not only is it a science, but plastic surgery is also an art that helps individuals increase their confidence.

    One student will be honored with a scholarship award of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), which will be issued to their accepting college.

    Deadline: May 31, 2020

    Eligibility and application process includes:

    • 3 references (teachers or employers)
    • In-person or other interview
